Ananda Yoga

Compassion    Balance    Well-being

Providing Integrated Movement Therapy, yoga classes & workshops

Ananda translates as bliss, happiness, delight in our existence, or our true nature. This happiness or delight is within and arises through our practice and self-discovery. Because we are all unique individuals having a common human experience, our paths to discovering or remembering our own true nature are also unique.

“Sometimes resilience arrives in the moment you discover your own unshakeable goodness. Poet Galway Kinnell writes, ‘Sometimes it’s necessary to reteach a thing its loveliness.’

And when that happens, we begin to foster tenderness for our own human predicament. A spacious and undefended heart finds room for everything you are and carves space for everybody else.”

~ Gregory Boyle, “Tattoos on the Heart”

Hello! Welcome to DKC Yoga and Ananda Yoga Therapy.

My name is Danelle and I am honored to have the opportunity to work with you. Whether you are joining me for an Integrated Movement Therapy session, a private yoga session, or a workshop, I strive to bring  compassion,

a sense of joy and exploration, and unconditional support throughout your journey.

I believe in the importance of instilling hope, providing a safe, welcoming environment, and partnering with individuals knowing that they are experts in their own lives. Together we will explore your own unique strengths & needs to help  you find freedom and ease in your mind, body, and spirit.

I also believe that the more we recognize our commonalities, acknowledge our differences, and learn from each other, the less we see those outside of ourselves as “other” and can celebrate our common humanity. I welcome all people, genders, bodies, ages, abilities, and experiences with love and acceptance.

Life is full of challenges, many of them ordinary, occasionally extraordinary, and when we are facing these, we often find we need an outside perspective, some practical tools or some time and space set aside for taking care of ourselves.
