Integrated Movement Therapy (IMT)
Compassion | Balance | Well-being
In IMT sessions, I integrate conventional psychotherapy techniques with experiential activities that strengthen the mind/body connection as a pathway to recovery. My work is influenced by neuroscience, rooted in yoga philosophy, and supported by research demonstrating that when we attend to and befriend our nervous system, we can successfully reduce or manage symptoms, increase self-confidence, and be compassionate towards others.
Using this integrated therapeutic approach, I strive to help people retell their stories, create new meaning in life, and build greater connection with themselves and others.
Individualized sessions, based on your unique strengths and needs, are designed in partnership with you to address life’s challenges and further develop your hope and resiliency.
Integrated Movement Therapy Sessions include some talking, mindfulness activities, breath practices and accessible movement for every BODY.
